So guys, time to work on my blog. There are several changes I want to make (as an example I want to build up a page where I list cities I have travelled to alphabetically with some information about the cities, including my own opinion and experiences), but first of all I want to hear from you what you like or dislike, what you want to be in- or excluded, what you prefer, if you have problems (for instance graphical problems) etc.

I have come to the conclusion that taking pictures is something I really like, and would therefor take delight in building up a gallery on this blog – not like the more or less temporary gallery which exists at the moment, I mean a really good gallery, errrr … actually, I have no idea how it should look like, probably several categories (nature, people, photoshop etc.), small previews, medium enlargements (no pictures in actual size, thus I can sell them for loooaaads of money :-D ).
What do you guys think? Do you know any good galleries in the internet? I’d need some suggestions, regarding the design, the content, the prices ;-) …

Nach ewigem Hin und Herprobieren an verschiedenen Computern denke ich das Problem gefunden zu haben: Wenn ich die Daten mit dem Kabel von der Kamera auf die Jukebox ueberspiele, gibt es keine Probleme – wenn ich die SD Karte in die Jukebox stecke, verliere ich knapp die Haelfte der Daten.

Ich habe gestern die ganzen Bilder geloescht, die nicht zu gebrauchen waren (ich habe mir alle 500 defekten Bilder im Explorer angeschaut, und konnte ca. 20 behalten, wo nur ein winziger Teil beschaedigt war) … ich hatte zum Glueck die meisten Motive doppelt, wenngleich auch einige richtig schoene Bilder im Eimer sind.
Aber noch bleiben mir ja ueber 2 Monate in Norwegen …

Good question – why do children use poetry-albums? To be able to carry their friends around with them? To be able to look at pictures of their friends? To be able to read wise comments and wicked entries?
Probably.

What shall I do exactly?

1. Participate!
2. Design a HTML file. Put whatever you want in it. Whatever. I don’t care.
3. If you want, design a CSS file, and pictures. Whatever. I don’t care.
4. Send me everything via eMail – I will put it onto my webspace and list it here.

So, nachdem ich jetzt seit anderthalb Wochen hieran arbeite, wird es doch langsam. Die Grafiken der Menüs werden sich nicht mehr groß ändern, ich habe eine grundsätzliche Struktur geschaffen, ein paar Inhalte eingefügt.
Ich suche dringend noch nach einer schönen Grafik für den Header, sowie Inhalte für die Links oben – aber da habe ich schon etwas im Hinterkopf. Die Bilder können jetzt durch eine für den normalen Benutzer völlig normal erscheinende, in Wirklichkeit aber hochkomplexe popup Funktion, die mehrere php Dateien zur Berechnung benötigt (und ich natürlich weder alleine geschrieben noch bearbeitet habe, weil ich dazu garnicht in der Lage wäre *g*), durch einen Klick in einem neuen Fenster vergrößert werden. Der Clou ist, dass sie erstens ganz toll angezeigt werden (keine Restbalken, kein falschfarbiger Hintergrund), und zweitens schließt sich das Popup Fenster automatisch, sobald ihr aus dem Fenster rausgeht (es muss also noch nichtmal geschlossen werden).

EDIT: Das Script mit den Bilder funktioniert natürlich erwartungsgemäß nur mit Firefox ordentlich, der Internet Explorer macht wieder mal Käse … gr
EDIT2: Tja, ich habe den IE doch nocht besiegt, glaube ich. Weitere Fehler bitte melden :-)
