Reminds me of that research that showed that people tend to follow someone who is very sure of their opinion rather than someone who expresses doubt, even though they have information that the “cocksure” is wrong…

Thanks for the reminder, I had completely forgotten about those studies. I actually read a few ones yesterday, because a friend asked me a question going into the same direction.
