human brains

philosophy, science Add comments

The brain of a fetus generates 250.000 neurons.
Per minute.

brain-1

It interconnects about 1.800.000 neurons.
Per second.

An adult brain consists of roughly 100.000.000.000 neurons.

I wonder if this machine has the capacity, I wonder if it offers the possibility to understand itself.

i am inclined to think not. :) i love this idea, though. we are figuring out our programming and capabilities as we go… on the fly… the machine changes as it learns more about itself, probably stays a step ahead of itself always. wait, where’s the manual? probably has been sold on ebay.
