But that's about it. Very interesting to see that CSU > SPD in Munich. We haven't had this in a long time. Last time I voted in Munich Greens had over 40% in Haidhausen, by the way :) ... I am also astonished by Guttenberg's result which is clear evidence how media love and journalists' inability to research joined with symbolic politics can form an admirable result. Concerning Munich it is notable that the CSU won clearly over the SPD (http://www.muenchen.de/Rathaus/politik/bundestagswahl2009/bu_wahl/348673/index.html). In local politics it's the other way round: Munich has a very solid SPD mayor. SPD voters do not trust the SPD anymore. They need to renew the party completely. Pirates 2,4% in Munich.
